Biography

I earned my PhD from the EUI with a thesis exploring 1970s trade union feminism in Italy and France. I am currently affiliated to the Centre d’Histoire Sociale du XXème Siècle of Sorbonne University (Paris) where I am working on a new comparative project focused on female unemployment in Europe. Both my thesis, B.A. and M.A., have been published and awarded of nation-level prizes. My research interests include gender history, labour history and oral history.

I have been involved in various public history projects:

I am a founder member of the Association for an Archive of Social Movements (Genoa)

I collaborated with the history project “Il Caso S.” (Bologna)

I contributed to the activities of the EUI working group GRaSe – Gender, Race, and Sexuality (Florence)
