Biography

Grigorios Bacharis is a PhD researcher at the European University Institute, working on competition damages actions and how they relate to tort law. His research interests include competition law, comparative private law, and legal theory. He currently is a visiting scholar at Columbia Law School. 

Grigorios  holds a Law degree from the University of Thessaloniki (first of class award) and LLM degrees from the Universities of Munich, Thessaloniki, and the EUI. He is also a qualified lawyer and has previously worked at the European Commission as a trainee. His most recent publications appear in the Common Market Law Review, Journal of European Competition Law and Practice, and European Papers.
