Welcome to my site!
I am a PhD candidate at the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy.
I am interested in inequality. My dissertation investigates when and how people come to oppose large income disparities. I investigate the role of natural disasters in altering redistributive demands. I have also conducted large scale online experiments to better understand attitudes toward inequality and the extent to which people differentiate when the source of the inequality stems from effort versus luck. I use quantitative methods and am interested in causal inference techniques.
Prior to joining the EUI, I obtained an MSc in Economics from the Barcelona School of Economics (Pompeu Fabra) and a BA from New York University Abu Dhabi. I am also a graduate of UWC Pearson College.
