I’m a Phd Researcher at the EUI in Florence. For my thesis I’m trying to write a transnational history of Norwegian social democracy from 1945 to about 1972, particularly focusing on the histories of work, development and international solidarity in Norway and the world.
My work is located somewhere between the history of knowledge, the history of (economic) ideas and political history. I am one of the coordinators of the Intellectual History Working Group, and an active member of the Economic History and Ideas Working Group.
Besides history I’m also interested in a few different fields, particularly philosophy, political economy and anthropology. I’m a fan of transdisciplinarity, and I try to make use of and integrate literature from various disciplinary traditions in my work.
Beyond the thesis reading and writing I try to be politically active. I’m a proud member of ATTAC and the EUI Researcher’s Union.
