Thank you for visiting my website. I am a PhD candidate in political theory. My thesis investigates normative legitimacy issues with states’ immigration control practises. I am also currently a research affiliate with the EUI Migration Policy Centres’s “The ethics of migration policy dilemmas” project. Previously, I co-coordinated both the Legal and Political Theory Working Group and the Migration Working Group.
Besides the political theory of immigration, I have strong interests in normative theories of legitimate authority and the justificatory processes required by such authority. I am also interested in critical theory, especially as approached from the perspective of analytic social and political philosophy broadly conceived.
Some of my recent work has appeared in the European Journal of Philosophy and the American Political Science Review.
During spring semester 2022, I was a visiting researcher at the University of California, Berkeley.
