Biography

I am a Researcher at the Department of Economics at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. My main research interests are political, international and development economics, with a special interest for topics related to war, con´Čéict and natural resources. My supervisors are Prof. David Levine and Prof. Andrea Mattozzi.

I hold a MSc degree in Economics from VU University Amsterdam and a BSc degree in Communication science from the University of Amsterdam. Prior to joining the EUI, I was a research assistant at the Dutch Central Bank and VU University Amsterdam. I am currently a teaching assistant for the International Economics course at New York University in Florence.
