I am a PhD researcher at the Law Department of the European University Institute (EUI). My current PhD project focuses on the regulation of innovative markets with an emphasis on innovation in retail payment systems.
I graduated from Leiden University (LL.M in European Law, cum laude) in 2013 and University of Tartu (BA) in 2011. I have joined the Estonian Bar Association in 2014 and have been a practicing lawyer until joining the institute in September 2017.
My research interests include banking and payment systems law, regulatory theory and competition law.
