Born in Fiesole in the late 80s, I am finally back in such a lovely town as Max Weber Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies. Currently, I am also Adjunct-Faculty for the MA Programme ‘EU Policy Studies’ at the James Madison University (Florence) where I teach ‘Comparative European Politics’ and ‘Transatlantic Relations’. I hold a Ph.D. (cum laude) in Political Science from the Department of Political and Social Science from the Scuola Normale Superiore and a MA in International and Diplomatic Science from the University of Bologna (Forli Campus). I have been visiting fellow at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and at the Fondation pour la Recherche Stratégique (FRS) in Paris. My current research specifically concerns terrorism and counterterrorism strategies at the EU and national level, security and military interventions and I am generally interested in International Relations, Foreign Policy and European Politics.
