Hieu is an MA student at the School of Transnational Governance at the EUI. Coming from Hue (my cover image), a romantic, peaceful, and historic city in the middle of Vietnam, Hieu is eager to know more about everything: from the history of religions and politics to regulating new technologies and building a sustainable economy. Hieu enjoys spending hours hearing anyone’s stories, from the childish moments to their academic “eureka” moments.
His main research interests are institutional economics and governance, especially the economics and governance of innovation and sustainability. He had worked on the corruption-firm innovation nexus, space governance, intellectual property rights, and EU taxonomy.
Before joining the STG-EUI, Hieu got a BA in business in Korea with summa cum laude.
