Researching in the fields of law and technology, infrastructure, free speech, and sociolegal studies. My research looks into digital infrastructures regulating online content, focusing on visible and invisible surveillance and control structures in the context of Palestinians under Israeli control.

Prior to joining the PhD program at the EUI, where I also completed my LL.M. studies in European, Comparative and International Law, I worked as a human rights lawyer in the Civil and Political Rights Unit at Adalah Legal Center, where I'm still acting as an affiliate attorney. My work focused on political participation, freedom of expression, prisoners' rights, citizenship status, alongside other criminal- and constitutional-focused human rights issues. These included litigating constitutional law cases before the Israeli Supreme Court, significantly, the ban on family unification law (Citizenship and Entry Law (Temporary Order)) and the amendment to the Police Order, which politicized the police and granted wide authority to the Minister of Internal Security, Itamar Ben Gvir. The work also included defending the political speech rights of Palestinian leaders and students in criminal and disciplinary proceedings, where, during the ongoing war on Gaza, I was part of the team representing tens of cases of disciplinary action due to social media posts, as well as those arrested for participating in anti-war protests and online content.
