I am a researcher in international law with a special focus in the law of the sea. My work looks at the field not only as a body of legal rules, but also as a disciplinary community with its own shared language, narratives and ways of imagining change. By combining doctrinal and interdisciplinary perspectives, I explore how ideas such as evolution, adaptability, and progress shape contemporary understandings of ocean governance.

Before joining the EUI, I studied Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (LLB, LLM) as well as the University of Utrecht (LLM). I am a qualified lawyer with the Pireaus Bar Association and hold experience in working in a law office specialising in public and administrative law issues.

I have also worked in different capacities in different journals: as Assistant Editor at the European Journal of International Law (EJIL); as an Editor-in-Chief and Head of Section in International Law at the European Journal of Legal Studies (EJLS); and as an Executive Editor at the Utrecht Journal of International and European Law (UJIEL).
