My Ph.D research deals with the resettlement of the German Speaking Refugees (Volksdeutsche) in Austria after 1945.

The main areas of investigation are:

• Naturalization policies;
• Humanitarian practices and religious associations;
• Identity and membership in post-war Austria.

I work with qualitative and statistical data.

My supervisor is Professor Monika Baar and my second reader is Professor Benno Gammerl.
