Feifei’s research focuses on Human Rights Law, Law and Sociology, Gender and Law, LGBTQ+ Rights, and Anti-Discrimination Law.

She holds an LLM in Human Rights from the China University of Political Science and Law and the University of Hong Kong. She also participated in the Visiting Fellowship Programme at the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law.

Feifei is currently a PhD Researcher at the European University Institute. She is the editor of Anti-Discrimination Law Review, the only publication in China dedicated to anti-discrimination law. Additionally, she is a member of the Berkeley Center on Comparative Equality & Anti-Discrimination Law.

Since 2017, she has focused on gender discrimination and LGBTQ+ rights. She has offered these communities pro bono legal counselling and support services through NGOs. She assisted with impact litigation on transgender employment discrimination and sexual harassment cases.

Her PhD project will explore inequality in judicial decision-making through a socio-legal approach.
