A socio-legal researcher specialising in environmental institutions and law-making, Sophie is finalising her PhD on climate finance. She has experience researching law of international security and international economic law, and practices international environmental law on a pro bono basis.

Sophie is a PhD researcher in Law at the European University Institute, and a visiting fellow at the Department of Legal Studies at Bocconi University where she also holds appointments for teaching and thesis supervision.

Sophie acts as a pro bono legal advisor in international climate law with Legal Response International.
