My work studies the intersection of competition law, intellectual property, and sectoral regulation in the pharmaceutical industry. I am also interested in innovation theory, technology regulation, and law and life sciences.

I hold a Ph.D. in Law and an LL.M. in Comparative, European, and International Laws from the European University Institute, as well as a Master’s degree in Law from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. I have taught courses in Competition Law, Intellectual Property, and Innovation at the European University Institute and the University of Florence. Since 2022 I have been affiliated with Dynamic Competition Initiative (DCI) – a research collaboration founded by the University of California, Berkeley and European University Institute.

During the period 2018 -2019, I was part of the Program for Legislative Research of the Bulgarian Parliament. In my capacity as a researcher, I prepared comparative legal reports on pharmaceutical regulation, citizenship, and spatial planning for the legislature.
