On 9 February 2024 was the closing session of the seminar “Legal Underpinnings of Innovation Policies: The Intersection of Competition Law and Intellectual Property” that we designed and taught together with Selçukhan Ünekbaş at the European University Institute. In four sessions, the seminar explored how European competition and intellectual property laws strike a balance between competition and market power to drive innovation.
